Zimbabwe Orphan Project

Most of these kids, orphaned due to AIDS, are cared for by extended family members who provide for them as best they can, but they have no funds for sending them to school. A gift of about $25.00 a month covers education costs for one child for a full year, plus providing shoes and uniforms.

Tuition:  $125 to $150 per year per child

Uniforms, shoes, & supplies:  $100 to $125 per year per child

Through outreaches and clothing and food distributions led by a team of workers from Faith World Ministries in Harare, hundreds of people in this region, including scores of children, have come to Christ, received the Holy Spirit, and many have been healed. Faithful Manjoro (pictured left with Ruthanne) and her team oversee the orphan project, and her father, Bishop Manjoro, one of my husband’s former students at CFNI in Dallas, oversees the church and building project.

The building now under construction, which will serve as a church and a secondary school, soon will be ready for installing the roof and finishing the interior. People throughout the region, including tribal and government leaders, are excited to see the spiritual transformation taking place in their once-forgotten community that has no church building or secondary school.
