Ruthanne Garlock is a speaker, Bible teacher, and prolific author.

Having co-authored 20 books on prayer and spiritual warfare, she is passionate about equipping a new generation of prayer warriors. Ruthanne has also authored two biographies including, Before We Kill and Eat You, the story of her father-in-law’s work in Liberia in the 1920’s.

Before his passing in 2003, John & Ruthanne served at Continental Theological Seminary in Brussels, Belgium, teaching students from 17 nations and went on to serve at CFNI in Dallas, TX for 29 years. They also traveled and taught leadership training in the U.S. and more than 35 countries. She is continuing the work of Garlock Ministries through her teaching and writing, and raising funds to help provide education for more than 100 orphans in a remote province of Zimbabwe.

In 2018 Ruthanne was presented with the Freda Lindsay award at Christ for the Nations. The award honors women in ministry whose passion and accomplishments exemplify those of CFNI’s co-founder, Freda Lindsay.

As a guest instructor at Two Rivers Native American Training Center near Tulsa, OK, Ruthanne teaches principles of spiritual warfare for their strategic training seminars. One of the dorms on the Two Rivers campus is named “Garlock House” in memory of her husband.

Ruthanne holds a B.A. degree in Bible and Theology from Central Bible College, Springfield, MO. She is ordained by World Ministry Fellowship, Plano, TX, and is a member of Genesis Fellowship in Canyon Lake, TX.  She has three children and four adult grandchildren.
